My fear doesn’t stand a chance when I stand in your love

Because all I have to do is to look up to you up above

You are my rock and my salvation

For you are my solid foundation

And I am standing in your love and on the rock

My firm foundation of which there are no stumbling blocks

I can shout from the rooftops of your amazing grace

And I can feel your presence so near sometimes I am in a daze

You are merciful and so very true

Even though reading your word sometimes I don’t have a clue

But I am hanging on in there and I love you so

And I can feel you very near me when I sometimes feel low

These feelings I have are so real and so true to bare

That there are times I find it hard to breathe and to come up for air

I worship you like I have never worshipped before

For it is you alone I worship and you I simply adore

Even at times when you feel so far away but you are so near

It is to you alone and your presence I hold very dear

Before I took a breath, you breathed your life into me

When your love wasn’t clear to me before it is now that I see

How awesome and wondrous you are I am just so amazed

You are like a fire that has over the years became ablaze

You are my rock of ages and over time I have learned to love you more

It was many years ago back in 2003 that you came knocking on my door

For you came into my heart and your love I so don’t deserve

And I remember at first that I was so shy and so very reserved

And sometimes this is still the case, but I have learned to speak out

About your amazing love and your presence when out and about

But there are times I find it hard to speak and I feel shy

When I know I shouldn’t and I need to learn to more than get by

My heart is so full of love and I feel this so amazing joy

But as I said there are certain times when I feel somewhat coy

I need to act when you speak to me to speak of your grace to others

But I feel more joyful when either alone or with my sisters and brothers

There is a sense of deep peace that alone overcomes

And all I want to do is to sing and dance and sometimes just hum

For I feel an air of expectancy that I have never felt before

I can fall at your feet and just be in your presence which is so raw

Just to be able to soak and listen to your voice when you speak

I know you are near and it is your presence alone that I seek

I desire to hear you calling my name out loud when I pray

For you are my love and I can call upon you either night or day

I put my trust in you alone....

I put my trust in you alone

For your seeds into my life you have sewn

And I feel loved, yes very loved

For you are my Saviour from above

I can feel you near me

In you I just want to just simply be

For I put my trust in you alone

There is nowhere I can hide

To be apart from you I couldn’t abide

For you are good, yes so good

And I know I don’t always behave like I should

But you are so very patient

There are times that I feel quite ancient

But there is nowhere I can hide

You welcome me with open arms

And with you I have no qualms

I just so desire to enter into your presence

Whereby I can smell your very essence

A sweet aroma in the air

A smell so pleasing I want to share

Yes, you welcome me with open arms

You have a calling upon my life

Even though it is filled with troubles and strife

But still you have a work for me to do

And all I desire is to follow you

This is my desire, yes this is my desire

I have deep within me a burning fire

For you have a calling upon my life

With you I feel so blessed inside

And there is nowhere that I can hide

For you have always had my back

There is nothing from you that I lack

I am free indeed, yes, I am free

And as happy as a honey bee

For with you I feel so blessed inside

I could talk about your love all day long

For with you I can do no wrong

For your love for me is deep to the core

Just as my love for you is very sound and very raw

I just hate it when I at times don’t do things your way

But at the end of the day you have your say

And Yes, I could talk about your love all day long

You love me no matter what

For my sins you have since forgot

But even so I slip up every day

And sometimes my feelings I keep at bay

But you turn me back to where I belong

And your melody I turn sometimes into a song

But you love me no matter what

You are the lover of my soul

And my love for you is deep and this is my role

I want to bring to you everything I can

For there is nothing from you that is banned

I know I am the apple of your eye

I can see for miles around and look up at the sky

I want to know you much more intimately

This is a love for me that goes so deeply

I am not content just to hear your voice

But I want to shout out your name and rejoice

For you are as I said everything to me

And all I have to do is to simply believe

Your grace is more than sufficient

For you are all loving and all omniscient

What more could I ask for you to do

I know that my love for you still feels new

Even though I have been saved many years

There are many times I cry out to you and shed tears

For you are so gracious and kind at that

I know sometimes I can act like a brat

I know I shouldn’t act in this way

And I need your forgiveness what more can I say

There are times that I need to keep myself in check

But with you I do desire to wander further and to trek

For your love is so great and this is my one desire

For you alone set my heart which is on fire

I am thirsty and hungry for you please know this

If I could I would do anything for you and there would be no risk

So, I ask what can I do for you my beautiful king

To reach out to you even further what can I bring

You are so special my heart just flutters

When I spend time with you there are so many words I want to utter

Time with you is definitely and infinitely well spent

And I know in your presence there are times I feel unkempt

But even still I love you so much more than words can tell

And you have me completely and utterly under your spell

These feelings of mine go so much beyond words

And I feel like flying with joy just like the birds

I want to be around you all of the time

I realise with you that I am very much in my prime

So, my awesome wonderful and amazing God

With you I don’t want to be alone and spend time on my todd

For you know that time spent sleeping when I should be awake

For so much do I want to spend time with you that my heart surely aches
