A View Into Me

I love

Spending time with The Lord
The Lord speaking to me through His Word
Early mornings
Warm summer evenings
Birds singing in the mornings
The sound of the sea
Drinking a cup of cocoa by an open fire
Sitting by candlelight
Making cards
The smell of bread baking
Receiving cards/notes from friends
Taking walks in the park
Going on picnics
Snuggling up in bed with a good book
Having family/friends photos around me

The smell of freshly mown grass
The first fall of snow
Going to local farmers markets
The sound of brothers and sisters worshipping together
The first sign of ripened blackberries
Earl Grey tea
Green & Blacks Vanilla white chocolate especially frozen
Lemon Meringue Pie
Feeding new born lambs
Sitting on the beach watching the sunrise
American Christian Bookstores
The happy sounds of children playing
Listening to Christian music
Chatting with online friends
Wild flowers

Making dried flower arrangements

Ironing, which I find relaxing
A tidy and organised home

Spending time with friends
Spending time writing
Driving through the countryside
Curling up on the sofa with a cat and listening to the soft purr

My 101 Items to be Completed in 1001 Days

My Start Date: 1st July 2018

Ending date: 31st June 2019

(last date to complete all tasks)

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities. ✔Clean my apartment on a weekly basis

Purchase a “note” chest for keeping journals & letters

Clear all debts

Work on developing drawing skills at least on a three monthly basiss

Scrap booking, learn how to do this

Arrange a prayer weekend away once a year in September

Teach myself different styles of French plaiting

Arrange a pampering day for myself at least once every six months

Start to do research on family history

Make time either morning/afternoon to spend time “soaking” in God’s presence

Read more books

✔Start to build relationships with people in my church

✔Start praying on a daily basis for minimum of ten minutes (working up to one hour) a day

✔Purchase a bay trees for balcony

Refrain from eating chocolate for one month

Drink 6 – 8 glasses of water every day for one month

✔Cut down coffee to two cups a day

Maintain and keep daily paper journal

✔Remember to check appointments for next day in planner on a daily basis

Start a gift shelf

Finish Organise filing system for papers

Create Recipe file

✔Meet and make new friends locally

Listen to sermons at least twice a week

✔Keep up my blog on a regular basis

✔Write a letter to at least one friend overseas on a monthly basis

Start to wean myself slowly off sleeping tablets

✔Visit friends back home on a regular basis

Purchase a new CD file for music and teaching CDs

✔Organise wardrobe

✔Visit hobby craft or similar store to stock up on “card making” materials/virtual shopping with my USA friend

Find out how to get involved with a local Adoption Panel

Make a special date with The Lord to include communion twice or more times a month

✔Start ordering staple foods wholesale (e.g. rice, chickpeas, pulses)
Read a book a week

✔Make a you tube video at least once a month
Get book published
Do bible study at least once a month from Ireland
