The winter time is almost over thank
goodness
This year it has gone on so much it feels
never endless
With the snow hitting us hard twice in a
row
Is this the last of it I wonder, I guess
we won’t yet know
You will soon see farmers putting their
hands to the plough
For it is that time of year when they
will just sough
Lambing season is right around the
corner
Now is almost the time whereby my puppy
will become an explorer
For the springtime is almost here upon
us
The leaves on the trees will come
through without any fuss
The tiny buds on the trees will grow
bigger as time goes on
Lilies will spring up all over on so many
ponds
Spring spells new life for many animals
and birds
Including the cows that are all over and
amalgamate in herds
Lambs are already being born this is
plain to see
Sometimes their mothers ignore them, so
they are harder to feed
So, for the farmers around this season
spells a lot of hard work
This job is not for the faint hearted but
there are those who will shirk
For woodland everywhere there appears to
be masses of blue bells
So lovely to walk among them and they
even have a faint smell
Daffodils and tulips, you can find wherever
you go
Also sold in shops far and wide you can
see them all in pretty rows
This wonderful time of year where
flowers are plentiful
Their new lease of life is just simply
incredible
People feel so much brighter when the
sun shines on them
For those that are single soon pair up and
become an item
This is the time of year where proposals
are high
So many couples celebrating everywhere
especially at night
Wedding plans are often in full swing
all around
For the next chapter in their lives to begin
they are homeward bound
This time of year, is also important for
Christian believers
Who observe Passover and more often than
not Easter
Chocolate eggs are everywhere, wherever
you may go
And if you don’t get one soon, the stores,
they will become low
For those of us around who do more than
just observe
The sacrifice given from Jesus have you
not heard?
For he died on the cross due to being
sacrificed and beaten
He could have denied who he was, but he
simply didn’t weaken
In the bible this story was foretold of
his death
But after three days his life God did
resurrect
If you wonder why, Jesus went through
all that he did
It was to take our sins for which on the
cross he just got rid
So, this season is really for me the
best time of year
for many reasons to some of which are
not very clear
the warmth of the sunshine and lease of
new life
can quite often get rid of your troubles
and strife
Therefore, if you feel like heading out
and about
Then for me to go with you I will go
without a shadow of doubt
