A cat called Biz

Monday 2 April 2018

There once was a cat called Biz
Who would quite often get herself into a tiz
She would disappear in the garden
Excuse me if you pardon
At hide and seek games she was a whiz

She would sometimes be naughty at night
Where it would appear she was as high as a kite
If she didn’t like you she would nip
And her water in her bowl she would take sips
But it wasn’t very often that she would bite

Cuddles and lap time, she loved
But during the day she liked playing rough
She was a teaser by nature
There was nothing that would faze her
But she loved doing all the above

Into the garden she would hide
There seemed very little she did not like
But she hated climbing trees
Let alone eating any of the leaves
She just loved being mostly out of sight

Her food she would gulp down in one go
Sometimes she would line up her biscuits in a row
She was a crazy funny cat
So how’s about that
She would in the end finish her food in her bowl

When we first got her we just couldn’t find her
Trying to locate her now seems a bit of a blur
We would look through the rooms
Where we were hoping she would go boom
Then under the bed covers was this big fluffy ball of fur

She could be so funny it was such a hoot
When small she could fit into a boot
There was no room for error
But she could be a terror
At the end of the day this cat called biz was incredibly cute

She was as crazy as the days gone by
But she would never think of hurting a fly
She would go after mice
And hated eating rice
But alas we knew one day soon she would die

So, this is all about our cat called Biz
When she became ill we wouldn’t take the risk
For it was time for her to go home
Where we knew she wouldn’t be alone
But at the very end her death was brisk
